Volunteering at Visiting Nurse Home & Hospice

Judy, one of our wonderful volunteers, arranging flowers for our hospice patients.

Your time and talents will be appreciated!

Hospice Volunteers

Our hospice volunteers receive specialized training to play a vital role in the delivery of care of patients facing serious illness. In partnership with our staff, volunteers support patients and their families through companionship, respite care, complementary therapies, and administrative and community support. We are seeking pet therapy teams, Reiki practitioners, and musicians.  Our next training will be offered in Fall 2021.

Administrative and Community Health Promotion Volunteers

There are a variety of ways volunteers serve in our main office and throughout the community.  We have one-time special projects, on-going administrative roles, and opportunities to support community health promotion.  Whether you are interested in behind-the-scenes clerical projects or serving as a wellness ambassador in the community, we have a fun opportunity for you!
